Legal AI from $30 a month for solo lawyers and small firms
Ketrone's four plans start at $30 per lawyer a month, each with a three-day free trial and no seat minimum. Here's which one fits your work.
If you run a practice on your own or with a handful of colleagues, you've probably looked at legal AI and found that most of it isn't priced for you. Too much of it is sold through a demo call, a firm-wide contract and a setup project, which suits a firm with an innovation team and a procurement process. A lawyer with forty open cases and no IT department reads that as a reason to wait.
We don't think the size of your firm should decide whether you get to use this. You don't need a bigger firm. You need a bigger advantage.
So Ketrone now starts at $30 a month for one lawyer. There's no seat minimum and no setup project. You can add people, and later the whole firm, when the work justifies it. Here is how the plans fit together.
Four plans, priced per lawyer
Every plan is priced per user, so a firm pays for the lawyers who use Ketrone and nobody else. Core, Pro and Max each come with a three-day free trial, and paying yearly costs less than paying monthly.
Ketrone plans and prices, per user |
Plan | Monthly, per user | Yearly, per user | Built for |
|---|---|---|---|
Core | $30 | $330 | Getting to know Ketrone on your own cases |
Pro | $100 | $1,100 | In-house and small-firm lawyers with growing workloads |
Max | $195 | $2,105 | Lawyers handing Ketrone most of their legal work |
Litigator | $495 | $5,000 | Heavy workloads, disputes and investigations |

Core: find out on your own cases
Core costs less than a working lunch and answers the only question that matters at the start: does this save you time on your own work? You get chat in your browser, Word and Google Docs, agentic workflows, and Smart Tables that pull the same details out of up to ten documents side by side. It connects to Microsoft 365 and Google, and gives you a 3GB secure vault and two workspaces.
Ten queries a day is enough to try it on the work you'd most like to hand over, such as a first read of a contract or the summary nobody wants to write.
Pro: when it becomes part of the day
Pro, at $100, is where most lawyers will settle once Ketrone is part of the working day. It's the plan that reviews contracts against your own positions, because it adds legal playbooks along with more than 100 templates and workflows. The Word add-in comes in at 200 actions a day, so redlining happens inside the document you'll send.
Pro also adds the task centre, where agents keep working in the background while you do something else. You direct. Ketrone works. You get extended thinking for harder questions, 40 queries a day, 30GB of vault storage and five workspaces.
Max: hand over most of the legal work
Max, at $195, is for lawyers who want Ketrone handling the bulk of their legal work. The change that matters is search across everything in your vault, so Ketrone answers from all the documents you've stored instead of one file at a time. With 500GB of storage, that can be years of a practice's work.
Usage goes up to 20 times Core's and Smart Tables take up to 500 documents each, with 500 Word actions and 200 automated flows a day, unlimited workspaces and an account manager to call when you need one.
Litigator: for disputes and investigations
Litigator, at $495, is built for the volume that disputes bring. Smart Tables take up to 5,000 documents each, so a disclosure set can be reviewed in one table instead of in batches. It adds an investigation tool with workflows, case management and advanced analytics, unlimited use of the Word add-in, access to the best available models, 1,000 automated flows a day and 1TB of storage.
Adding the firm
There's no seat minimum at any level. Start with one lawyer, add colleagues as they ask for it, and put each person on the plan their work needs. The plans differ mainly in how much each lawyer can use, so a firm can mix them by usage: Core for someone who uses Ketrone now and then, Max or Litigator for the lawyer who runs most of their work through it.
A firm finds out what Ketrone is worth one lawyer at a time, not through a firm-wide contract signed in advance.
What lawyers ask before they start
Is my client data safe on the cheapest plan?
Ketrone is ISO 27001 certified, complies with GDPR and the UAE's Personal Data Protection Law, and is a Dubai AI Seal verified provider. The same standards apply whichever plan you're on.
Can Iry it first?
Core, Pro and Max each have a three-day free trial, so you can test the plan you think fits before paying. You'll need a card to start one. Litigator has no trial and starts on a subscription.
Monthly or yearly?
Both. Yearly works out cheaper on every plan: Core is $330 a year against $360 paid monthly. You can cancel at any time.
Can I change plans?
Yes. The plans differ by usage, so put each lawyer on the level their work needs and change it as that changes.
Do I need to set anything up?
No setup project on any plan. Sign up, connect Microsoft 365 or Google, and open a document you're already working on.
Try it on this week's work
Pick one piece of work you'd normally finish late and do it with Ketrone instead. Three days is long enough to know.
